Osteopathy
Techniques:
OSTEOPATHY is a manual and holistic [whole body] medicine that uses refined ‘hands-on’ techniques to balance & integrate the systems of the body in order to achieve mobility and structural stability as well as enhance overall well-being. Its unique philosophy focuses on interrelationships and causal factors as opposed to symptoms & localized discomforts. It is an approach that uses precise palpation & adjustment techniques and is based on an extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. A consultation consists of an in-depth evaluation and treatment that lasts 60 minutes. Osteopathy works on the body’s muscular, articular, visceral, circulatory, lymphatic, energetic and nervous systems—including cranio-sacral work as an inherent component. This approach is complementary to traditional medicine and other healing therapies.
